Qatium understands the unique security, regulatory, and compliance obligations that water utility companies face on a global scale. As part of our commitment to our users, we have robust systems, processes and procedures in place to keep your data secure and private.
Your data is encrypted and processed through Amazon Cloud — the most comprehensive security and globally compliant platform trusted by world’s largest security agencies.
Qatium is a serverless application. All data is encrypted and processed locally on the user’s browser — not on an application server. To keep data anonymous and secure, a key management service separates data processing from data storage activities.
Your data is encrypted and processed through the Amazon Cloud – the most comprehensive security and globally compliant platform trusted by world’s largest security agencies.
Qatium is based on Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) Well-Architected Framework. Highly scalable, the framework rests on six pillars: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability.
Continuous monitoring capabilities allow the system to apply machine learning capabilities to identify anomalous activity, mitigate DDoS attacks, and send alerts whenever changes are made to AWS resources.
Automated security tasks significantly reduce human configuration errors and give your team more time to focus on other business-critical objectives.
Compared with on-premise software, cloud-based applications reduce the number of potential attack surfaces. In the case of Qatium, only an edge device for pushing data to the cloud and user browsers require protection, provided through multiple layers of security.
AWS has earned certifications and accreditations demonstrating compliance with the important security assurance frameworks relevant to utility organizations such as PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, ISO, SOC, Cyber Essentials Plus, FIPS 140-2, ITAR and GDPR.
With Qatium’s partnership with Amazon Web Services, your utility can transform and converge information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) to improve reliability, lower operating costs, and reduce your carbon footprint.
“The speed at which you guys at Qatium can make changes is amazing.
It’s very different from our experience with other companies.’’
