Qatium’s 2024 year in review: 10 key moments you may have missed

As 2024 wraps up, we wanted to reflect on a year full of accomplishments at Qatium — including some you might have missed!
From new innovations to our platform and investments in water education to deepening our commitment to collaboration, knowledge sharing, and breaking down resource barriers, it’s been a busy yet productive year for the Qatium team.
Here’s a quick recap of the 10 biggest moments that helped shape our journey this year.
Our new Qatium Marketplace helps you customize your digital water toolkit with add-ons and plug-ins created by your water community!
After months of hard work, Qatium’s product team proudly launched the Qatium Marketplace, a collaborative hub where everyone — from utilities and software vendors to consultants and independent developers — can share tools created with Qatium’s Software Development Kit (SDK). They’re available for free or purchase and empower the wider community to customize Qatium to work with their workflows and organization.
The product team also launched the Qatium SDK, a game-changer for developers looking to customize and expand our easy-to-use water management platform. Our SDK empowers you to customize and extend our open platform in ways that are highly relevant to your unique use cases.

Qatium’s Summer Fest brought our teams together for a truly unforgettable event in Benicasim!
The event mixed fun with productivity, allowing our fully remote teams to bond through shared experiences like scenic bike rides, island explorations, and relaxing poolside time. Amongst the fun, we also revisited our company goals and future direction and reinforced our collective mission to make water management smarter and more sustainable.
Not only did Qatium proudly sponsor Software Crafters Barcelona 2024, an event dedicated to software professionals passionate about their craft, but we also took the stage to present a talk, “Look Mom! No Branches!” During the session, we shared insights into our innovative development practices.
Over the past year, Distilled has featured water leaders from around the globe to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the water industry.
Host Will Sarni, CEO of Water Foundry, has one-on-one conversations with each guest, exploring their unique career paths, the current state of the water industry, and considers what’s next for water.
