So, what have we been up to?

Our SDK is now available in beta

We recently launched the beta version of the Qatium SDK, your new toolbox for tailoring our platform to fit your unique needs and ideas. Check it out here!

It’s for developers, innovators, and dreamers like you – whether you’re into software development, consulting, researching, or just love creating cool stuff.

Inside, you can dive into Qatium’s API for custom functionality, kickstart your journey with our easy plugin guide, and experiment & refine using Developer Mode and our production web app.

Yes, it’s beta, so expect some adventures along the way. Bugs? Stability quirks? Perfect! You’ll help us smooth out the edges by sharing your experiences in our Slack community.

Network support from Q, your digital water assistant

If you’ve been a Qatium user for a while, you’ll be familiar with Q, an AI-powered assistant that guides you through the easy model build process.

Now Q is there to help —answering your network-related questions— whenever you’re using Qatium.

Click the Q button in the bottom-left corner of your screen to launch the chat interface. Then ask Q for help. For example: insights on network performance or how to run different operational scenarios (Watermain shutdowns, Demand spike, etc.).

Like many well-known AI assistants, Q can “hallucinate” on occasion. If so, Q will point you in the direction of our human team members.

Digest asset property info in graphs

New graphs help you to better visualize and understand information about asset properties (status, relative speed, downstream pressure, etc.).

Get tank capacity info with the Tank autonomy panel

Quickly check how much capacity or operational time each tank in your network has before it runs empty. You’ll find the Tank autonomy panel on the right side of your screen.

Better DMA insights with the Zone panel

In our last update we released DMA insights, giving you high-level insights for specific DMAs or network zones. Now you have the Zones panel (also on the right of your screen). Get additional zone data like the number of customers with low pressure and number of junctions with high pressure.

Import pump curve for more accurate models

The import process has gotten even smarter by leveraging Machine Learning capabilities. This means better import results and model accuracy.

Experience Qatium for yourself

Qatium is an open, easy-to-use water management platform. Experience these new features and updates for yourself: create a free account, build a model of your network in minutes, and you’re ready to go.

Open Water 2.0:
Open platforms, Marketplaces & Community

Open Water 2.0 builds on the foundation of our first Open Water whitepaper, which explored the value of open data, open-source software, and open collaboration in the water sector. In this paper, we introduce three new critical drivers to the Open Water approach: Open platforms, Digital marketplaces and Communities in motion.
