Water Footprint
Track your network’s Water Footprint
Measure the impact of water-saving initiatives with clear, comparative insights.
The Water Footprint plugin helps utilities and operators monitor water consumption across their network over time. By comparing a selected period against a defined baseline, you can see whether consumption has increased or decreased, in both volume and percentage terms.
Visualize daily or weekly consumption trends across the entire network or by zone, highlight areas with reductions or increases, and download detailed reports for further analysis. With the Water Footprint plugin, you can validate the impact of operational measures, track seasonal variations, and build a stronger case for water-saving strategies.
Visualize consumption trends: Review the evolution of water use over time with customizable chart intervals. Choose between daily or weekly views to better understand short-term variations or long-term patterns.
Highlight savings on the map: Zones are color-coded to show changes at a glance. Inlets with reduced consumption appear green, while those with increased consumption appear red, helping you quickly identify where interventions are working and where they aren’t.
Export detailed reports: Download daily consumption and savings data in .CSV format for further analysis or reporting. Share insights with your team or stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
Configure zones and macrozones: In addition to standard zones, artificial “macrozones” can be configured to analyze custom areas of interest.
See total consumption by network or zone: Select a date range and view the total volume of water consumed across your entire network or in specific zones. Results are shown in cubic meters (m³), megaliters (ML), or gallons depending on your flow data.
Compare periods against a baseline: Assess the impact of operational changes by comparing consumption against a baseline period. Instantly see whether consumption has risen or fallen in absolute volume and as a percentage change.
