Operate your network with Q, your digital water assistant
Hopefully you’ve met Q by now, but if not, they’re an AI-powered assistant trained to assist users with their network operations. Q just got better, and operating your network is now as easy as having a conversation. Simply ask Q to complete operational actions via the chat. For example:
Pinpoint issues: Simply ask Q to identify problems in your network, such as bursts, and it will provide you with the information you need.
Perform UI actions: Need to open panels or navigate through different sections? Just tell Q, and they’ll handle it.
Interact with assets: Q can also interact with various assets in your network. Whether it’s opening valves or bypasses, Q has got you covered.
Water age plugin
Monitor the quality of water across your distribution system. Track water age —an indicator of water quality— across your water networks with clear visualizations. The water age panel offers a range of colors to indicate the number of hours water has been in your network. Filter by time range to easily view any areas of concern. Use water age insights to optimize network design & operations, minimize water losses, and improve the efficiency of water treatment processes. This plugin is available as part of our PRO plan or separately in our Marketplace.
Fire flow analysis support
Understanding maximum flow rates is an important task, and we have made this process faster and easier with our new Fire Flow Analysis support. In the demand spike scenario, you can now specify a target pressure, and Qatium will calculate the flow rate required to achieve that residual pressure. This feature is particularly useful for determining the maximum flow rate through a fire hydrant.
Qatium Marketplace
Customize your digital water toolkit with plugins created by our water community. You can now browse innovative digital water tools in the Qatium Marketplace, created by people just like you, who understand the day-to-day challenges of water management. All plugins are added to your Qatium account for use in your network operations.
Qatium Marketplace is a hub where anyone — from utilities and software vendors to consultants or casual coders — can submit tools they’ve developed using Qatium’s Software Development Kit (SDK), for purchase or for free, so the wider community can benefit from their actions and customize Qatium to their ways of working.
This new marketplace is a practical enabler within Qatium’s Open Water approach and a step towards achieving our mission to make digital water management available to all utilities, big and small. If you’d like to take a look or submit your own plugin for approval, check out the Marketplace now.
