After signing up to Qatium, you will land on your personal workspace to start your Qatium journey. If you have multiple workspaces, Qatium will display your last accessed workspace.
Networks
In order to give you an introduction to Qatium, we created a demo model where you can explore the various functionalities, before importing your own network. After importing your network, it will be displayed alongside the demo model. You can have as many networks as you want and they might not fit on a single page, hence the page selector to go to another page.
You can also sort them by last accessed, name, most recent, and most used, to help you get to your desired network more quickly.
You can rename, download and delete your network directly from the workspace view. The buttons will appear when hovering on the network tile.
Workspaces
You can have access to as many workspace as required, contact Q to request a shared workspace. To change workspace, click on the workspace selector and select the workspace in the drop-down.
Imports
You can import networks by clicking on one of the two buttons highlighted above. You can also drag and drop your network directly and the import process will start automatically.
For more information on the importing process, please visit our Creating Models section.
Avatar & Profile
You can view your account details by clicking on your avatar. Don’t see an avatar ? You can create your avatar on gravatar.com.
You can also sign out.
We are building additional functionalities to allow you to view and edit your profile. Stay tuned for more information.

Pressure panel
You can show and hide the pressure layer by using the toggle on the top right corner of the panel.
The colored hexagons on the panel are interactive! Click on the left one to zoom to the lowest pressure in the network and on the right one for the highest, and highlight them.
The legend can be hidden without hiding the pressure hexagons, by clicking on .
Flow panel
You can show and hide the flow animation layer by using the toggle on the top right corner of the panel. The panel also displays the length of the network and the distribution of flows across the network.
The legend can be hidden without hiding the flow animation, by clicking on .
Tank volume panel
The tank volume panel displays an average of the tank volumes in percentages. This panel displays the volume of the tanks at 00:00 and at the current time step. By changing time step you can verify the behavior of your tanks along the day.
Timeline controls
By default, Qatium will display the network on the first time step of the current day: 00:00.
Changing time step
You can change time step in multiple ways:
by clicking on the time step on the timeline
by dragging the round blue cursor on the timeline
By clicking on the play button on the left of the timeline. Please note that this action will display all the available simulation results after the current time step.

You can use any combination of these to navigate to a specific date. When navigating to another date the default time step will be the first one, 00:00.
Using the URL
You can use a parameter in the URL to navigate and share your view of the network.

The time parameter value should be in an ECMA262 format.
If you are sharing the link, the recipient needs to have access to your network. To share a network, you need to have a shared workspace with the recipient. Read more about shared workspace.
